Interface information is gathered from the SystemConfiguraton framework and thus is Mac OS X network location aware (to prevent interfaces from appearing in this menu see the FAQ). . On Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) the CPU meter will incorrectly identify some PowerPC G4 7455 (Apollo) processors as 7450s. This is due to an issue in 10.2 Carbon where gestaltNativeCPUtype returns incorrect values. This bug has been fixed by Apple in Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther).
